However, your door width must be greater than the push bar length for proper installation. If you're replacing an existing panic bar, double-check your current bar's length first to ensure a direct replacement.

【Versatile Fit for Most Commercial & Residential Doors】IRONWALLS 41" panic exit device is built to fit a wide range of doors—compatible with metal or wood doors (NOT for glass doors) ranging from 41" to 53" wide. Plus, the tail end of the bar (about 6") can be trimmed down to accommodate smaller widths. It's also reversible for left-hand or right-hand swing doors, works on single doors, and fits double doors WITH a center mullion. If use alone, NOT work for double doors WITHOUT a mullion. Always check your door setup before purchasing.

【Flexible Hex Key Dogging】During peak traffic hours, conventional panic bars create bottlenecks as users must physically depress the bar mechanism for each passage. This repeated action not only slows pedestrian flow but also generates incremental losses to panic bar. That's where the hex key dogging feature comes in—it temporarily holds the latch retracted so the door operates as a simple push-pull during business hours. When the rush is over, reverse the key to restore standard panic bar function.

【Upgraded Auxiliary Guarded Latch】Standard panic bars stop unauthorized entry—this one goes a step further. An integrated anti-pick deadbolt adds an extra layer of defense against forced entry attempts. While the main latch handles everyday operation, this auxiliary guarded latch engages to resist picking, keeping your doors secure. Whether it's a back door, storage room, or main entrance after hours, you get peace of mind knowing both the bar and the deadbolt have your back.

【Push to Exit, Key to Enter】Inside, one smooth push on the bar releases the latch instantly—no fumbling, no complicated moves, just a clean & fast exit every time. Outside, a keyed exterior entry lever handle lets authorized personnel lock and unlock the door as needed. This gives you controlled access: employees and occupants get out fast in an emergency, while only key holders can get in from the outside. It's the perfect balance of life-safety compliance and everyday access control for any commercial or residential building.

【Heavy Duty Panic Exit Device】This push panic bar door lock is crafted from commercial-grade, high-hardness stainless steel that resists rust, corrosion, and warping. It's tough enough to handle medium to high foot traffic day in and day out, indoors or out. Fire-rated and heat-resistant, it stands up to extreme conditions without losing integrity. From apartment buildings and office complexes to shopping centers, hotels, schools, and hospitals—this is the kind of durable panic hardware for versatile applications.

Overview

Material: Stainless Steel

Brand: IRONWALLS

Color: Black

Product Dimensions: 41"L x 6"W

Exterior Finish: Stainless Steel

https://facilityready.us/products/ironwalls-41-push-bar-panic-exit-device-exterior-lever-stainless-steel-color-black
