The mounting part measures 18.9 by 4.3 by 1.4 inches and can cover native American electrical boxes. The cable length is adjustable up to 78 inches. Please do not use dimming switch as dimming equipment has been configured inside the light, use ordinary wall button switch to avoid flickering
